From 2014-2015 I worked at RebelMouse as a Project Manager, coordinating the design, development and maintenance of client sites built on their Roar platform. I managed an overnight team of developers and designers, and reported to the head of Accounts.
In early 2016, I was promoted as a Product Manager, working on the development and maintenance of the company's existing products (analytics, social APIs, core code) as well as leading the development of the then brand new Runner product. Working directly under the company's Vice President Product, I helped conceptualise, plan, and build Runner in beta, coordinating with a core team of frontend and backend developers, management, and accounts.
As part of RebelMouse's remote overnight team, independently managing a team of developers and designers, my time zone and geography never got in the way of my project management and team communication. In fact, I embraced my remote lifestyle and coordinated between developers, designers, and accounts teams comprising over 25 people in 4 different time zones.
